Titanwatch

Seattle is peaceful ...

... for the past forty years, a treaty has existed between the children of the Gods and the children of the Titans. Although in other cities, Scions and Titanspawn still battle, the Powers That Be in the city of Seattle realized that mutually assured destruction was not a winning situation for either side. And so they have maintained a peaceful coexistence within the city.

Seattle is safe ...

... since the treaty, the children of the Gods and the children of the Titans have policed their counterparts. The Godwatch, staffed by Titanspawn, keeps an eye on the children of the Gods. The Titanwatch, staffed by Scions, keeps an eye on the children of the Titans. Between them stands the Council, which directs the High Watch--the martial arm that acts when the treaty has been breached, when Scions or Titanspawn cannot be stopped through negotiations or other peaceful means.

Seattle is home ...

... it's your home, whether you were born here or came to live here. All your stuff is here. You've got reasons why you want to keep Seattle both peaceful and safe, which is why you took the job with the Titanwatch.

Titanwatch is a Scion: Hero game, set in Seattle. PCs are part of the Titanwatch, which is primarily an investigative organization that looks into incidents that may have been caused by the Titanspawn. The game will have elements of cop dramas (or at least the ones I've seen) and the X-Files. The set-up is loosely inspired by my extremely limited knowledge of Nightwatch, mostly imparted to me by Jeremy.

"No reason to get excited,"
The thief – he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I we've been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
The hour's getting late."

--"All Along the Watchtower," written by Bob Dylan
